Please read this important message if you study or do business at the Health Professions Campus in Hillsboro.
A portion of SE 8th Avenue in Hillsboro directly across from HPC2 (190 SE 8th Ave.) will be closed for surface reconditioning on a single date sometime between July 1 and Aug. 31.
The City of Hillsboro is reconditioning several roads throughout its boundaries over the summer, and the specific date for this closure has not yet been determined.
The University will receive a minimum of 36 hours notice before the specific date in which the affected street block will be closed to both parking and traffic.
Only the portion of SE 8th Ave. north of Washington Street will be closed and blocked off. Access to 8th Ave. in front of Creighton Hall and the Intermodal Transit Facility (south of Washington St.) will remain open.
Important: vehicles parked on the affected streets must be moved prior to the date the work is being done or they will be towed at owner expense.
Specific details are contained in this letter from the City of Hillsboro.
