Resources available to prepare you for an emergency

Please download and study the University's Emergency Notification Plan and sign up for Boxer Alerts if you have not already done so. Both were needed during last week's lockdown of HPC.

If you have not yet signed up to receive Boxer Alerts, now is the time. Please be sure to select the group that best suits you (e.g. Forest Grove Student, HPC Faculty/Staff, etc).

Last week's test of the system came just one day before the system was needed to alert students, faculty and staff at the Health Professions Campus of a possible gunman.

The emergency lockdown at HPC also served as a reminder to follow the procedures outlined in the University Emergency Operations Plan.

The plan provides instructions on what to do in the case of specific emergencies, such as an active shooter on campus, fire or natural disaster.

Your safety and security is of paramount importance. Thank you in advance for taking the steps above to be prepared for future emergencies.
