Multiple Subject Elementary Education Exam Preparation Workshop
If you have not yet taken/passed the Elementary Education, subtests I and II multiple subject exams yet, we are offering a preparation workshop in January.
Merri Steele and Paul Duchin, former co-presidents of the Eugene Education Association, are offering a FREE test preparation workshop on Tuesday, January 22nd from 5:00-7:30 here at Pacific.
The workshop will cover information about the format, online preparation materials, testing/study tips, profiles for the tests, and practice tests. They will go over a plan of study, tips for overcoming performance and test anxiety and resources you can use to be a successful "passer" of these tests.
In addition, the OEA (Oregon Education Association) will be providing FREE packets of materials for all attendees to help you with your test preparation.
There was no perfect night, but January 22nd appears to be an evening with few classes scheduled. Secondary MAT/Flex may have methods courses scheduled but most of those will be independent study and I'm hoping it will be possible to arrange schedules with methods teachers so you can attend this workshop.
Merri and Paul need to have an approximate number of attendees so that they can have enough packets for everyone attending. If you plan to attend this FREE test preparation workshop, please email Shelley Smolnisky.
