Mission Statement:

We wanted to gather together as many voices — a spectrum of tone, character, background and experience — and tangle them in a gorgeous symphonic stew to share with anyone who comes to our table.

Portland’s dance scene is nothing if not small and powerful, each voice showcasing its distinct and natural spice. Delicious. But not often to we attempt to amalgamate the flavors. The tendency is to stay within our studio home, ironic to our inventive and inquisitive natures … to wait for funding, opportunity or luck.

This is our effort to remember why we began dancing in the first place — to find everything and lose ourselves. This is our effort to show that profit won’t keep us from saying “Yes.” This is our effort to combust, to light up the world, to lose ourselves in a skyless void where only clouds exist, falling into precarious pools of extreme happiness, eventually rising out in glory, dripping with a frosty bliss.  We invite you to join us. Artists include Jennifer Camp, Lane Lunter, Tracy Durbin, Catherine Egan and many more.

Camp will present excerpts from "Beneath the Surface" with a collection of Portland Professional dancers, Cait Powers, Melissa Framiglio, Tracy Carboneau and Ameila Unsicker. They have all relocated to Portland after having prestigious professional careers with various ballet companies such as Louisville Ballet, Ballet Idaho Ballet de Monterrey, etc. To read about the dancers go to!dancers
