All university locations to delay opening on Wednesday, Jan. 23
Due to the threat of icy road conditions, all university locations (campuses, clinics and administrative offices) will not open on Wednesday, Jan. 23 until noon.
The safety and security of students, faculty and staff is of paramount importance to Pacific University.
A National Weather Service Travel Advisory Warning predicts a likelihood of icy road conditions throughout much of the Portland and Eugene metropolitan areas on Wednesday morning, Jan. 23.
As a result, all Pacific University locations will not open until noon.
Classes scheduled before noon but normally continuing past noon will begin at noon, resulting in a shortened class. Those beginning and ending before noon are canceled.
The delayed opening is in effect for:
- Forest Grove Campus (includes the Early Learning Community)
- Hillsboro Campus
- Eugene Campus
- All health clinic locations
- MFA in Writing Office (Portland)
- Woodburn Location
