Pacific University Welcomes Zipcar to Forest Grove
Kickoff event slated for noon, Thursday, Feb. 7 in the University Center Fireside Lounge. Students, faculty and staff receive a discounted membership rate. Memberships also available to the general public.
Pacific University welcomes Zipcar, the world's leading car-sharing network, to Forest Grove on Thursday, Feb. 7.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., an information booth in the University Center staffed by Zipcar personnel will allow both members of the university community and general public to sign up for the service.
From noon to 12:30 p.m., a program including remarks by Center for a Sustainable Society director John Hayes and provost and vice president for academic affairs John Miller will take place.
A Ford Focus and Toyota Prius reside in Lot F off University Ave. (between Clark and McCormick halls).
Any Pacific students, faculty and staff 18 and over can become a member today for only $25.
