Intranet Site Planning
Faculty and Staff Feedback Encouraged
One element of our Internet Strategy is the development of an Intranet for our faculty and staff. Our new Intranet site is a collection of online tools, as well as a point of entry for faculty and staff to find the information that is of interest to them … organized specifically for them. In addition, the Intranet would sit behind our single sign on, and would provide an option for internal documents (which also can be housed in one of our Intranet tools, the Vault).
Via this link you will find an overview (see notes) and the proposed tertiary and secondary navigation.
This has been reviewed and discussed with a small group of stakeholders this past week and we are now asking for input from the Pacific community by Friday, June 21.
If this information would be of interest to members of your team, please share this with them. If I can answer any questions, please let me know how I can assist. We will continue to send periodical updates via email and PUNN and we will continue to ask for feedback on the work-in-progress. I want to continue to encourage participation during the planning stages, which is our best opportunity to gather input.
