MENSCH is a Festival of Music and Art that provides a space for Pacific students, staff and the local community to display their arts and crafts, and to gather, mingle, have a good time, and promote civic awareness for gender equality while listening to great music.

Mensch is a Yiddish word for a fundamentally decent, upright, caring and globally aware human being, and these are the qualities the festival fosters. It is a positive, expression of personal and communal responsibility and commitment to artistic expression and social justice.

The Center for Gener Equity will award three cash prizes for pieces that best reflect the theme:  "Respecting Gender in All its Forms."

Come, join us, have fun, and be a MENSCH!

Sponsored by Pacific University's ACE Board and the Center for Gender Equity.

Please bring toiletries, towels, soap, and diapers, which will be donated to Bradley Angle Domestic Violence Center: http://bradleyangle.org/
