Pacific University New Website Planning Continues

We have just completed the creative for our new website. To learn more about the creative, and to see the new design, visit our planning website. Please note, the copy has not been developed, and currently includes placeholder text and imagery. New Website Creative

Project Scope

The scope of the Internet Strategy project is to create a new website built on Drupal, a Content Management System (CMS) with a strong design and improved navigation (site architecture). The externally facing site focuses on an external audience (prospective students and parents) and internal audiences are directed to MyPacific (current students, faculty and staff). MyPacific, geared to our internal audiences, will use our existing technology, serving the information up through strengthened navigation specific to that audience. In addition, our new website will be mobile ready (responsive design).

Next Steps

We are currently working on the technical specs with our website development partner BrandJuice. With creative complete, we will now start building the framework for the new website.

FAQ | Maintaining and Updating Current Content

One of the questions we most frequently receive is, "Should I update my content and/or add pages on our current website as needed?" The answer is yes. Please continue to keep online information current, adding, updating and changing content whenever needed. This is important for our current website users and as will be helpful in 2014 when we will move content to our new website (reviewing, updating and adding at that time as well).

Continued Communication

We will continue to send periodical updates via email, PUNN, BoxerBriefs and BoxerBriefs Professional and will continue to ask for feedback on the work-in-progress. For all the news, check out the Planning Website
