The Undergraduate Student Senate recognizes the benefits of experience abroad, and shares the university’s goal of promoting diversity and exposure to other cultures. There will be six $1,000 grants offered to full time students who have little or no previous experience abroad for trips during the Summer 2014 term. The goal of this grant is to increase cultural awareness for students who would otherwise not be able to gain it by their own means.

Scholarships will be available outside the student senate office or by email on Feb. 10.

The applications will be due to the Pacific Information Center (PIC) by 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20.
