Link In Live: A Learning Lab to Uncover the Hidden Job Market

Engage in Strategic Career Conversations

Meet professionals at Link In Live, a networking event at First Avenue Career EXPO April 4. Professionals and alumni from consortium schools are ready, willing and able to meet with students to share valuable insights on how to enter their career field.

The hidden job market is uncovered through strategic conversations with key people. Engaging in these conversations effectively involves a skill-set necessary to thrive in todays competitive job market--underscoring the importance of who knows what you know! To develop this skill-set, students are invited to Link In Live--a learning lab to practice engaging in brief, intentional career conversations with professionals. This high octane event is part of the First Avenue Career & Graduate School EXPO held on Friday April 4th 1:00pm-2:30pm at the Chiles Center, University of Portland.

THREE REASONS TO ATTEND LINK IN LIVE

1. To bring social networking to life! Set yourself apart by relating face-to-face. Walk away with new professional connections and learn how you can best position yourself to enter the field.

2. To expand your contacts! While participants are not offering specific job openings, they will provide important advice about their career paths and how to be successful in a variety of fields.

3. To enter the raffle! A finals care basket will be given away at 2:30. You have to attend and mingle to win, but you don’t have to be present to win.
