Sex On-Line: A Panel
Brown Bag lunch program will examine the ethics of internet pornography.
2-14-06 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. UC Fireside Lounge The web and wireless environments have made pornography available at our finger-tips, just about any time, any place. That very availability forces us to ask questions about ourselves as consumers of online sex. Join a panel of experts who will discuss the ethical, legal and health implications of student use of on-line pornography. The panel will consist of Dr. Jerald Block, M.D., a psychiatrist who deals with addictions, Patricia Barrera, Victims Services Coordinator for Clackamas County Corrections, who will talk about how objectification of sex affects relationships, and George Heuston, an ex-FBI officer who will discuss the legal angle, and two Pacific students, Matt Leady and Cameron Bardwell.
