Join the Student Alumni Relations Council
The Pacific University Alumni Association is now seeking interested applicants to apply for the 2009/10 Student Alumni Relations Council.
Thank you for showing a desire to become involved with one of the most prestigious student organizations on campus. The Student Alumni Relations Council seeks to uphold Pacific University's most cherished traditions while engaging both student and alumni in a variety of university activities. SARC is responsible for: Cider at the Soccer Game, Dinner for Strangers, Spirit Night, Senior Salute, and participate in Spirit Week, Noise Parade, Family Weekend, Portland Alumni Holiday Party, Club and Organizational Fairs on campus, Alumni Association Board of Directors meetings and activities, and a service event each year. In addition to being "tradition keepers," Student Alumni Relations Council members serve as ambassadors of the University and frequently connect with alumni.
Mission Statement:
The Pacific University Student Alumni Relations Council fosters traditions and school spirit to promote a positive experience, build pride and loyalty to create future alumni leaders, encourage interaction between students and alumni, and provide our members with fun leadership opportunities.
Position Description:
SARC members should be committed, motivated and capable ambassadors of Pacific University. They should be good at interacting with others, committed to fostering a sense of school spirit, and enjoy connecting with alumni. Members must be full-time students who are active in campus life, sharing in the traditions and values of Pacific University past and present.
