Colcannon to perform on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m.
An eclectic mix of traditional Irish music and contemporary sounds will illuminate the stage when Colcannon performs at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 in the Taylor Meade Performing Arts Center.
An eclectic mix of traditional Irish music and contemporary sounds will illuminate the stage when Colcannon performs at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 in the Taylor Meade Performing Arts Center.
While their music is unique and contemporary, Colcannon is recognized through the unmistakable heart and essence of traditional Irish sound. The concert will feature time-honored, original songs performed with all-acoustic instrumentation. Steeped in warmth, talent and wit, an evening with Colcannon weaves these threads together in a way that is intriguing, imaginative and honest.
Tickets are $22 general admission, $19.80 for senior citizens 55 and older, and $11 for children 12 and under. Advance purchases can be made by calling (503) 352-2918 or e-mailing boxoffice@pacificu.edu Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. Students, faculty and staff are also eligible for discounts.
Colcannon’s appearance is the second installment of the Performing Arts Series at Pacific University, and is sponsored by Tuality Healthcare.
