"Gifts from the Heart" food and fund drive underway
Public invited to join faculty, staff and students in donating non-perishable food through Dec. 15
The public is invited to join Pacific University students, faculty and staff in participating in ‘Gifts from the Heart,’ a food and fund drive with all proceeds donated to the Oregon Food Bank.
The University began collecting non-perishable food products such as canned goods today at its Forest Grove and Hillsboro campuses, and will continue to do so through Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Canned foods, crackers and similar items may be dropped off at three University locations: the Department of Human Resources (2011 21st Ave. – Forest Grove), Marsh Hall (2043 College Way – Forest Grove), and on the third floor of the Health Professions Campus in Hillsboro (222 SE 8th Ave.).
Additionally, an Oregon Food Bank cash donation box is stationed at Human Resources for those wishing to make monetary gifts. For more information, call (503) 352-2237.
