Social Media Usage Guidelines for Business Purposes at Pacific University


Getting Started

If you are interested in using social media for business purposes at Pacific University the Office of Marketing & Communications will assist you in creating your social media account(s). Before determining if social media is right for your communication plans and for your audience we will discuss and evaluate your request. Marketing & Communications guides appropriate usage and will work with you on strategy, set up, audience interaction, monitoring and metrics. We encourage you to have a discussion with us so we can provide guidance and better understand your goals. Social media requires resources, so when considering usage it’s important to recognize there is a daily time commitment you will need to make to be successful.
