A study of the application of physical and chemical principles involved in the development and preparation of pharmaceutical dosage forms. The study of physicochemical factors that influence the availability and stability of a drug from a dosage form. In addition, this block trains students to develop basic compounding skills by applying their pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical calculation knowledge to prepare sterile & non-sterile solid & liquid dosage extemporaneous products. 2.5 credits.
