A study of the application of physical and chemical principles involved in the preparation and usage of pharmaceutical dosage forms. The study of drug physicochemical factors and the dosage form that influence the bioavailability of a drug from a dosage form. In addition, this block trains students to develop basic compounding skills by applying their pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical calculation knowledge to prepare sterile & non-sterile solid & liquid dosage extemporaneous products. 3 credits.
