Please contact Janelle Holmboe, Associate Director of Graduate and
Professional Admissions, with any optometry-related questions. Janelle
oversees the admissions process for the College of Optometry and will be
your main resource as you embark upon the application process. The

In addition, Kendra Kallemeyn, a current third year student at Pacific
University College of Optometry, is available as a resource for you.
Originally from Pierre, South Dakota, she completed her undergraduate
education at South Dakota State University and began Optometry school in
2007. Kendra joins the admissions team as the Graduate Assistant. Her role
is to assist you with questions that only a current student could answer.

INTERESTED IN SETTING UP A VISIT?
Come see us in person! Visits are offered Monday thru Friday (exception of university holidays), generally hosted from 11:00-1:00 pm. A visit consists of a one-hour appointment with Associate Director, Janelle Holmboe, followed by a one-hour campus tour with a Student Ambassador. To set up a visit, please contact Janelle directly.
