Please contact Janelle Holmboe, Associate Director of Graduate and Professional Admissions, with any optometry-related questions.  Janelle oversees the admissions process for the College of Optometry and will be your main resource as you embark upon the application process.  The best part of her job is working with you, so don't hesitate to contact her with questions both big and small.

In addition, Kyle Schwalbe, a current third year student at Pacific University College of Optometry, is available as a resource for you.  Originally from North Dakota, he completed his undergraduate education at North Dakota State University and began Optometry school in 2006.  Kyle joins the admissions team as the Graduate Assistant.  His role is to assist you with questions that only a current student could answer, so don't hesitate to contact him.

                                 INTERESTED IN SETTING UP A VISIT?

Come see us in person!  Visits are offered Monday thru Friday (exception of university holidays), generally hosted from 11:00-1:00 pm.  A visit consists of a one-hour appointment with Associate Director, Janelle Holmboe, followed by a one-hour campus tour with a Student Ambassador.  To set up a visit, please contact Janelle directly.
