Introduction:
Course Description:
This course will prepare optometrists to diagnose the ocular and systemic manifestations of the five most common connective tissue disorders, including PXE, Ehlers-Danlos, Osteogenesis, Marfan and Stickler Syndromes.
Course Objectives:
At the completion of this course, the optometrist will be able to differentially diagnose the following five connective tissues disorders:
1. Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum
2. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
3. Osteogenesis Imperfecta
4. Marfan Syndrome
5. Stickler Syndrome
