Areas of expertise and interest include binocular vision, rehabilitative optometry, vision therapy, and pediatric optometry. Dr. London was the editor-in-chief of Mosby’s Optometric Problem Solving series and is currently working under a National Eye Institute grant for a series of multi-center studies on amblyopia. Dr. London is a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry.  Dr. London has received the President's Award for Professional Education and the Advancement of Science Award from the Neuro-optometric Rehabilitation Association.

Dr. London was the 2011 selection for the Dr. & Mrs. Dominick M. Maino Visiting Professor Program. The program is used to bring nationally/internationally recognized experts in the fields of pediatric optometry/ophthalmology, binocular vision, vision and learning, and/or special populations to the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) campus. 

Not only has Dr. London been busy on the lecture circuit, he was the chapter editor for “Brain Trauma” and the author of the section on “Diplopia” in the recently released Ocular Therapeutics Handbook by Onofrey, Skorin and Holdeman.
