The student handbook profile reads; "Esther works closely with Dr. Smythe to schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and travel; and she oversees the administrative offices of the College. She is a valuable source of information about the college and can answer just about any question you may have!"  

That description doesn't begin to describe her contributions to the College.  Whether wielding a sledge hammer (as she did for the renovation of the Dean's office) or shooting photographs for various publications or locating the errant caterers, she approaches all her jobs with enthusiasm and her infectious smile.  She keeps the candy jar filled, the bandages stocked and knows exactly where the bootkey has gone.  Esther is also an extraordinary editor and enjoys dabbling in graphic design.  If the faculty, staff or students need a "Mom" for advice, assistance or a sympathetic ear, they can always visit Esther.
