This is my second year coordinating orientation, and my third year as an ambassador. If you have any questions about anything on campus feel free to ask! I am very excited for orientation this year and can't wait to meet you all. Enjoy your summer!

Assistant Director of Orientation

Joel Lampert

Hello Everyone! I am the Assistant Director of Orientation as well as a graduate student in the School of Professional Psychology. We work year-round to prepare for the arrival of new students in the fall and we are all very excited for a new year to begin and for all of you to be joining us at Pacific! This is a great place and one that I have called home for a long time now. Several years ago, I was in your shoes as a new student getting ready to come to college. It was a whole new experience for me and one that I will never forget. We have come a long way since then and have the best ever Orientation program to help you get started at Pacific. Please catch me when you arrive on campus so we can meet in person. It's a great time to be a Boxer! Welcome to Pacific!

Assistant Dean of Students

Julie Murray-Jensen

Welcome to Pacific! I'm Julie Murray-Jensen, the Assistant Dean of Students at Pacific University, and I'm very happy to welcome you to our campus. As your Assistant Dean, I'm very fortunate because my position serves all of our Undergraduate Orientation programs and I will be a part of the team that orients you to campus. This year's Orientation promises to be our most powerful line-up yet with pre-orientation trips, expanded parent programming, and a variety of program highlights for all of our incoming students. Our goal is to help you make the best possible transition possible and we take this responsibility very seriously. So, get ready for an incredible orientation experience and please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you prepare for your time as a Boxer. We look forward to meeting you!

Executive Assistant to the Dean

Ingrid Unterseher

Hello to all you wonderful new students! I'm Ingrid, Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students and one of your Orientation Team's members. I imagine you're wondering why I'm on this site. Well, I've been assisting student orientation leaders for the past eight years in various ways, all mostly behind the scenes by editing, logistical coordination, leadership development and support, and general information. Seeing the growth both personally and in leadership roles of new coordinators every year is exciting and makes the summer a great time to work in Student Life. You have awesome leaders this year so watch and learn from your coordinators and team leaders - you may be in their shoes in the coming years! Enjoy the remainder of the summer - we can hardly wait for you to arrive!
