New Student Orientation Coordinators

Hello, my name is Hannah Lee! I am a 5th year student, from Boise, ID, majoring in Music Education. I am a member of the Chamber Singers, a Music in May mentor, as well as the co-director for Pacific’s female acapella ensemble, Voce Femme. I have been a member of the Phi Lambda Omicron Sorority for all 4 years at Pacific and have held positions such as Pledge Captain, and was the Vice-President for the 2013-2014 academic year. I am beyond excited to be a part of the Orientation team and I am looking forward to making Orientation a positive and fun experience for everyone!

Hi everyone! My name is Synclaire Waldron! Originally a California native, I came to Pacific University for its small class sizes, gorgeous campus and the involvement opportunities Pacific lets you get involved in. I am currently a Journalism major going into Veterinary Medicine after I graduate. During summer and the school year I work at the Hillsboro Veterinary Clinic on top of being the Recruiting Assistant for the Pacific University football team. I love being involved around campus and am so excited to be a part of such an amazing group of coordinators—we cannot wait to meet the new incoming freshman class!

Hi, I’m Taylor Farris! I’m a double major in Communications and Creative Writing, with a minor in English Literature from Grants Pass, Oregon. I have immersed myself in many aspects of life at Pacific—I am an active member of the speech & debate team, I have written for the Pacific Index newspaper, had a fellowship with the Berglund Center for Internet Studies, and work with the Undergraduate Admissions office as both a Pacific representative and a Boxer Ambassador tour guide. Outside of Pacific, I am the assistant coach of the Forest Grove High School speech team. I am excited to bring new ideas and input to help make this the best experience possible for the incoming class!

Hello, my name is Evangeline Van!  I am a senior from Chicago, Illinois, double majoring in Integrated Media and Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I hope to one day go into sports advertising or work for a public relations agency. During the school year I work at the Technology Information Center as a senior assistant, and am a member of Pacific University’s Chamber Singers and acapella group Voce Femme. As a coordinator I am very excited for all the challenges and new experiences this summer will hold!
