Students are responsible for transportation for all practicum and fieldwork experiences during the 31-month program. Any added living and transportation expenses for the Level II Fieldwork will also be the student's responsibility.
Financial Aid
Need-based aid in the form of grants, loans, work-study, and other funding is available to those who demonstrate financial need. Visit the financial aid website.
Students applying to the School of Occupational Therapy should have a copy of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file in the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible after January 1, and no later than March 1. FAFSA forms are available at any University/College Financial Aid Office. DO NOT WAIT TO BE ACCEPTED in your program to apply for Financial Aid. Financial aid records from all schools previously attended are also required.
WICHE
The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education Student Exchange Program (WICHE) offers $10,700 in financial assistance to certified professional occupational therapy students from the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, and Wyoming. For further information contact WICHE Student Exchange Program, P.O. Drawer P, Boulder, CO, 80302, phone (303) 541-0214 or Pacific University Office of Admission for Professional Programs. All residents from the above states are strongly encouraged to apply for WICHE certification. The application deadline for WICHE funding is October 15 of the year prior to entrance in the program.
