Kelly Hering
Administrative Assistant
Although Kelly is new to us at Pacific University’s School of Occupational Therapy, she’s certainly not new to her field of expertise as an Administrative Assistant. She comes to us with 14 years of experience from the Oregon Graduate Institute. Kelly plays a key role within the School of OT planning events, and working closely with the Department Head, providing support for all aspects of administration. And, as if that isn’t enough in her part-time role, she effortlessly assists in payroll and budget for the School.
Kelly’s skills and abilities are interwoven with a spirit, energy, and zest for life which are a testimony to who Kelly is as a person. She exhibits this same enthusiastic tempo in her personal life where she is a devoted wife and mother of 5 children, in her active volunteer role in local schools and her church community. Through her transition from her ultra busy mornings at home, to her very busy days at work, Kelly still keeps her delightful smile and upbeat positive attitude. Likewise, Kelly’s transition to Pacific University’s School of Occupational Therapy has been seamless and delightful; and she continues to grow our efficiencies as well as our commitment to serving occupational therapy students and the Pacific community.
