About the Pacific Outback Program
The Pacific Outback is a department funded both by student activity fees and University allotted funds. It is our desire to serve the entire campus community by creating off-campus activities suitable for the enjoyment of everyone. Whether it be outdoor wilderness activities, urban programs, or service-oriented programs, we hope to fulfill the needs of all students alike. These programs, initiated and often led by students, encourage personal challenge, community responsibility, cultural diversity and respect for the natural world. It is our hope that these valuable skills will be taken and applied to everyday student life and beyond.
