Dear Parents,
I am a parent of a Pacific University freshman. I've been meeting with other parents of Pacific University students to form the first ever Parent Association. As unusual as this may sound, we've actually been having a lot of fun throughout two meetings while doing this! This Steering Committee has designed our organizational format and decided upon three committees that we feel will have the most impact on current and future Pacific families. We have a Handbook/Planner committee, an Ambassador/Admission committee and a Parent Networking/Activities committee.
This new Parent Association is open to you and we need your help. We have planned a meeting to be held from 2:30 - 4:00 in Taylor Auditorium - Marsh Hall on Saturday, April 14th. Since many of us will be on campus for the Luau, please plan to attend our meeting to hear the details of our fledgling group and sign up for committee work.
