Brad Fujisaki, R.Ph.

Assistant Professor
Pharmacy Practice

Brad graduated with a B.S. in Pharmacy from Oregon State University in 2000. He is residency trained in Pharmacy Practice (Portland VA Medical Center) and in Drug Information/Drug Policy Specialty Practice (Oregon Health & Science University).  He also holds a Certificate in Healthcare Management from OGI/OHSU (2006).  He is currently a Pharm.D. candidate at the University of Colorado at Denver (anticipated 2007).

Brad's practice interests and teaching style find commonality in the need for critical thinking and a systematic approach to problem solving.  His practice interests include pharmacy informatics, evidence-based practice, clinical trial design, and drug information/drug policy. In addition, Brad's therapeutic interest areas include acute care areas of adult internal medicine, nephrology, and cardiology as well as drug therapy in lactation, drug dosing in obesity, and drug-induced disease/adverse drug reactions.  He currently serves on Pacific's Institutional Review Board (IRB) as well as the Library Advisory Committee for the University.

When not focusing on pharmacy, it is common to find Brad in the kitchen with Hawaiian music cranked-up in the background and pretending to sing into a kitchen utensil.  Brad also loves gizmos and gadgets and can be seen frequenting tech stores browsing the latest and greatest innovations that make life more enjoyable.  His new found hobby is spending time with his daughter (born October 2006).
