Brett Windsor graduated as a physiotherapist from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia in 1994. After working briefly as a physiotherapist in outpatient sports and orthopedics in Australia following graduation, Brett spent time working in the Borders region of Scotland before moving to the US in late 1995, where he worked in acute care through Indiana and Michigan before beginning practice in outpatient orthopedics in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

 

Brett began studying with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 1996.He completed the NAIOMT Manual Therapy Clinical Fellowship in 2003, which included time studying in Montreal, Quebec. He is now a faculty member for the NAIOMT organization; in addition to teaching courses, Brett mentors clinical residency students, having become a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (AAOMPT) in 2004. In 2006, he published a case study on peripheral manipulation techniques to the elbow in the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

Brett maintains an active clinical practice at various locations in the Pacific Northwest and is a member of the Washington State Physical Therapy Licensing Board. Brett is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania and is the chief instructor for their manual therapy courses taught to Italian physiotherapists at the Fondazione Turati Rehabilitation Institute in Gavinana, Italy.

 

Brett’s primary area of interest is HVLAT manipulation of the spine and extremities.
