Transition DPT Program

Congratulations on considering an additional degree in Physical Therapy.  Choosing to devote the time and resources to a Transition DPT program is a very personal decision and this website should help you determine if Pacific's program meets your needs.  We are mindful of the fact that our Transition DPT program must be efficient and clinically relevant to become part of your professional responsibilities.

The Transition DPT faculty is comprised of full-time and adjunct educators from Pacific University and other entry-level DPT programs, as well as Pacific University’s Physician Assistant Studies program. They offer a diverse academic background grounded in excellent standards of practice.  In January 2008 program coordinator and assistant professor Bob Nee, PT, M App Sc, ATC, left to pursue his doctoral studies in Australia.  During Bob’s seven years as program coordinator he established a strongly integrated curriculum with outstanding clinical applicability that is carried on by the current faculty.

Pam Edwards, PT, is the associate coordinator of the TDPT program. She manages the daily operations of the program but functions mainly as liaison between the students and the University. In understanding the time constraints of clinicians and acting as their primary contact person, Pam saves the students' time that they can devote to their academic activities.

After reviewing this information Pam would be happy to discuss Pacific's Transition DPT program.

Thanks again for your interest.
