2013 Staff Senate Elections

Boxer Boost - Join with other staff for a coffee break on the Third Thursday of the month between 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., October through May! There will be coffee and light refreshments. On the Hillsboro Campus, Boxer Boost will be held in HPC2 room 430. On the Forest Grove Campus, gatherings will alternate between the Alumni Room and the MPR. There will be Staff Senators at each Boxer Boost, allowing you to learn more about Staff Senate as well as offer suggestions for future activities and events. Sponsored by Staff Senate and Aramark.

Skillbuilder Sessions- the Staff Senate Professional Development Committee has been hard at work organizing Skillbuilder Sessions. These sessions are opportunities for all staff to learn more about tools to make your work life easier. Our goal is that you walk away from each Skillbuilder Session with at least one practical, usable skill to add to your toolbox. The Staff Senate serves as the official representative body of the University staff community by actively participating in campus governance. The Staff Senate shall foster a spirit of unity and cooperation, providing representation of non-faculty personnel in coordination with the faculty and student governing bodies. The Staff Senate shall also provide a forum for the exchange of information between members of the staff, administration, faculty and students.
