Early Arrival Requests for Fall 2008
Scheduling an Early Arrival
In order to be scheduled for an Early Arrival, your supervisor, advisor or coach needs to send your name to the Housing Office. Talk with your supervisor, advisor or coach for details about moving in early.
Checking In
To get checked-in go to the front desk of the hall you have been assigned to or the Vandervelden Resident Director Office (located near the laundry room). A Residence Life Staff Member will be there to assist you during the days and hours designated.
You must arrive during the official check-in dates and times or have made an appointment for an early date and/or time.
Early Arrival Fee
If you are not required by the University to be on-campus early, you will be charged a $50.00 per night room fee. This will be charged to your student account from the date of check-in until housing officially opens:
- International Students: August 15-17, 3pm-5pm
- New Freshman & New Transfer Students: August 20, 7am-3pm
- Returning Students: August 23 & 24, 10am-4pm or by appointment
If your name is on the Early Arrival list, you will not be charged the early arrival fee, unless you are not required by the University to arrive early.
Meal Plans
Your meal plan does not begin until
the official housing check-in date. If you are
choosing to arrive early, you are responsible for your own
meals. If you are required by the University to arrive early some
of your meals will be provided.
If you want to schedule an early arrival, please contact the
housing office at housing@pacificu.edu at least 48 hours
in advance. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your request
has been approved.
