Welcome To Gilbert Hall
Gilbert Hall, Pacific University's newest residence hall, is located on the North side of campus west of the Vandervelden Court complex. Living in Gilbert Hall gives students a sense of community while also giving the student the positive aspects of independent living. This building houses students that are generally 19 years old prior to the end of the Fall term.

Room Types
Six person apartments:
8 Units Available (48 beds total)
Each apartment has two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms. The full size kitchen with breakfast bar is open to the living room. The two bathrooms each have a tub/ shower combination with access to one shared sink/vanity area. Large mirrors and modern lighting are located at the sink/vanity. Each bedroom has individual closet space for each tenant and the apartment has at least one additional shared closet.
Four person apartments:
13 Single Bedroom Units Available (52 total beds)
Each apartment has four single bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and a full size kitchen with breakfast bar is open to the living room. The two bathrooms each have a tub/ shower combination with access to one shared sink/vanity area. Large mirrors and modern lighting are located at the sink/vanity. Each bedroom has individual closet space.
3 Double Bedroom Units Available (12 total beds)
Each apartment has two double bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and a full size kitchen with breakfast bar is open to the living room. The two bathrooms each have a tub/ shower combination with access to one shared sink/vanity area. Large mirrors and modern lighting are located at the sink/vanity. Each bedroom has individual closet space.
Four person suites:
8 Units Available (32 total beds)
Each apartment has two double bedrooms, two full bathrooms and one open shared living area and small kitchenette. Each bedroom has two separate closets within the room. The bathrooms have a tub/shower combination with access to a shared sink/vanity area. Large mirrors and modern lighting are located at each vanity.
Three person suites/ RA Room:
4 Units Available (12 total beds)
Each apartment has one double bedroom and one single RA room with two full bathrooms and one open shared living area and small kitchenette. Each unit has one bathroom for the double rooms and one bathroom for the RA each with separate sink/vanity areas. Large mirrors and modern lighting are located at each vanity. Each bedroom has two separate closets.
• All rooms are ADA adaptable.
Unit Furnishings:
Each apartment and suite will be furnished with:
- extra long twin beds
- desk with desk chair

Living rooms will have:

- Mini blinds provided at all exterior windows.

Staffing & Safety:
- Gilbert Hall is staffed by a full-time live in Area Coordinator (AC), and four paraprofessional Resident Assistants (RA).
- A RA is on call from 7pm-7am Sunday through Thursday and 24 hours-a-day on weekends and holidays.
- Property patrolled by Campus Public Safety.
- All exterior door entries will be controlled by card access.
- Gilbert Hall also elects a Hall Council at the beginning of the Fall term that acts as the voice of the hall in examining policy and sets money aside for programming, games, movies, and equipment available for residents to check out.
