Welcome To McCormick Hall

McCormick Hall, fondly known as "Mac" is home to a mix of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Mac is a quiet, relaxed atmosphere great for studying and getting to know your hallmates. Mac residents are involved in many campus clubs and activities and play a very active role in determining the environment of the Mac Hall community.

Safety

Mac is staffed by one full-time live-in Resident Director (RD), four paraprofessional Resident Assistants (RA's) and one paraprofessional Network Assistant (NA).

The RAs are on call from 7pm-7am Sunday through Thursday and 24 hours-a-day on weekends and holidays.
Property patrolled by Campus Public Safety.
All exterior door entries will be controlled by card access.

Mac Hall also elects a Hall Council at the beginning of the Fall term that acts as the voice of the hall in examining policy and sets money aside for programming, games, movies, and equipment available for residents to check out.

Amenities

Mac has an open balcony overlooking the giant main lounge where residents hang out, study, and participate in hall activities.
"The Doghouse" is a large lounge/meeting area on the lower level of Mac, and is a great place to hang out, play pool, or watch cable TV with your friends.
The laundry room is also located on the lower level, and has many washers and dryers. It is open 24 hours a day to all residents of the building ($.75 per load, operated by laundry cards.)
Mac also boasts a kitchen so that you can cook your favorite recipes from home.
The Front Desk of Mac Hall, staffed by the resident assistants, has TV's, movies, games, pool equipment, and kitchen equipment available to check out.
Each room in Mac Hall has a computer network connection and wireless connection.
