McCormick Hall
McCormick Hall, fondly known as "Mac" is home to mainly sophomores and juniors. Mac is a quiet, relaxed atmosphere great for studying and getting to know your hall mates. Mac residents are involved in many campus clubs and activities and play a very active role in determining the environment of the Mac Hall community.
Safety
Mac is staffed by one full-time, live in Resident Director (RD), 4 para-professional Resident Assistants (RA's), and 1 Para-Professional Assistant Resident Director.
Amenities
- Mac has an open balcony overlooking the giant main lounge where residents hang out, study, and participate in hall activities.
- Theater located on lower level of Mac fondly called cinemac, which Can be reserved to watch favorite movies or cable TV.
- "The Doghouse" is a large lounge/meeting area on the lower level of Mac, and is a great place to hang out, play pool or foosball, or watch TV with your friends.
- The laundry room is also located on the lower level, with card operated machines ($0.75 per load).
- Mac also boasts a fully stocked Kitchen (equipment generously provided by the Mac Hall council) so that you can cook your favorite recipes from home.
- The Front Desk of Mac Hall, staffed by the Resident Assistants and ARA's, has TV/DVD's, movies, and DVD's available to check out and use in your rooms.
- Each room in Mac Hall has a phone jack and computer network connection, and wireless connection.
