Checking Out of Your Room at the End of the Spring Semester 2008

Near the end of the academic year, all students living in housing will recieve information regarding the steps required to check out of their rooms. All students MUST be out of housing by noon on Sunday, May 18, when the residence halls close, but may leave whenever their final exams are finished.

CHECKING OUT OF YOUR ROOM:
Anyone leaving housing at any point must complete the check out process, whether they are graduating, studying abroad, approved to move off campus, not returning to Pacific, or simply leaving at the end of the Spring semester. A Room Condition Report (RCR) must be completed with your Resident Assistant or Resident Director. You must check out of your room by the date established by your Resident Director and/or the office of Housing & Residence Life. These steps must be completed in order to avoid any fines as stated in the Residence Life/Vandervelden Court Handbook.

Avoid cleaning charges to your room by vacuuming, wiping down all surfaces, and checking to make sure your belongings are out of every drawer by check-out appointment time.

You will continue to be billed for room and board until your check-out paperwork is returned to the Housing Office by your Resident Director. Once received, your student account will be updated appropriately.

Please see the Housing & Residence Life Calendar for more important dates.
