Housing Application/Fee:
The Housing Application and a non-refundable $100.00 Housing Application Fee is due on Wednesday, November 21 at noon in the Student Life Office. The $100.00 fee is required to select space (cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover will be accepted). It will be credited to your student account upon move-in. Please note: this fee is also required if decide to wait until the April Housing Lottery to secure housing.
Housing Selection Number:
When you return your housing application and $100 Application Fee, you will draw your own early housing selection number immediately (first-come, first-served and numbers prioritized based on class status as of the end of Fall `07). We will verify your credits with the Registrar's Office.
Please note: numbers 1-5 will be issued based on a drawing. To enter, locate a copy of the November 2nd edition of The Index and complete an entry form. It’s due on Wednesday, November 21 at noon in the Student Life Office.
One form will be accepted per person. If you win one of these numbers, you will select your housing in the first group and may bring your roommates with you! The drawing will take place on Monday, November 26 in the Student Life Office and winners will be informed via e-mail.
Please note: Once all of the early selection numbers have been issued, students will be assigned to a selection night on a first-come, first-served basis. Credit ranges will still play a role.
Class distinctions will be broken into groups as follows:
• Seniors/Prof. Students: 90+ credits
• Juniors: (60 - 74.59) and (74.60 - 89.99) credits
• Sophomores: (12 - 44.59) and (44.60 - 59.99) credits
Roommates:
You may select your own roommates. All roommates will draw a early housing selection number. Your housing group will want to use the lowest number to select your housing. You will be required to fill the room type that you are seeking, not the unit (ie. single room = 1 person, double room = 2 people). However, if you don't fill the unit, you may be presented with fewer housing choices.
Gender Neutral Housing:
Students will have the opportunity to share their unit with males or females. The bedrooms will remain gender specific but the common area may be shared by opposite genders.
Housing Selection Appointment:
Housing selection takes place on Wednesday, November 28 and Thursday, November 29 between 5:00pm-12:00am. Selection will occur as follows:

Meal Plan:
Block Board meal plan is required for all students residing in the suite units. $540.00 of declining balance is required for students living in units with kitchens that haven't been out of high school for a least two years and optional for those who have been out of high school for at least two years.
