A Guide to the Trees
Welcome to the Pacific University Tree Guide. This site is a resource for finding learning about on-campus tree specimens.
The following exhibits are currently available:
- The Interactive Map makes use of Google Maps to pinpoint tree locations on satellite photographs. Try this tool to find featured trees on campus.
- The Dichotomous Key aids in identifying an unknown tree by asking a series of questions. If you have found a tree species on campus, but find yourself unable to identify it, try going here.
- The Tree Directory lists all trees included within this guide. If you know a tree's name and want to learn more about that tree, take a look at this page.
