Tutoring & Learning Center

Welcome to the Pacific University Tutoring & Learning Center (TLC). We offer student-to-student tutoring for undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences. Our student tutors are screened and approved by faculty members in their areas of expertise and are available to help you on a drop-in basis.

Visit us in Scott Hall, room 127, for help in math, science and writing. Just sign in and find a tutor in the subject, or specific class, in which you need help. We also have two Macs and two PCs available for your use, as well as lots of comfortable chairs and tables for quiet study. We also work as a clearinghouse for other tutoring resources in the College of Arts & Sciences. Faculty members are invited to let us know about tutoring opportunities in their departments, so we can make information available to students. Our space also is available for your study groups or tutoring sessions. For more information, contact Yashica Island at 503-352-2715 or yisland@pacificu.edu.
