Pacific University encourages all students to become involved with student activities to enhance their academic, cultural, social and recreational experiences outside the classroom through participation in group programs and activities. Students are broken out into two governing bodies: one for undergraduates known as the Undergraduate Student Senate (USS) and another governing body for the graduate programs known as the Professional Programs Council (PPC).
The Undergraduate Student Senate and Professional Programs Council work with students from their respective areas to provide a student voice within the University government structure and to make decisions as to how funds will be used from the student activity fees. Clubs and organizations within the student body are also recognized and funded by Undergraduate Student Senate and Professional Programs Council.

A listing of currently recognized clubs and organizations for undergraduates can be found under CORE within the Student Senate website. Core is run by the senate Vice-President and is in charge of the recognition process and acts a liaison between the senate and the individual clubs and organizations.Student Activities Office
The Student Activities Office facilitates intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth within the college environment. This is the place to get involved with planning activities, to learn about student clubs and organizations, to start new organizations, or to schedule co-curricular and extra-curricular events for the University community.

The Student Event Planning Guide has been designed to help students create a successful event or program on the Forest Grove campus of Pacific University.
The earlier plans and arrangements are made, the more likely the event will take place in the location and on the date preferred. Event Request Forms should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to event.
If a student group is co-sponsoring a non-University organization on campus, please contact Conference and Event Support Services for procedures and contracts.
Conference and Event Support Services provides work opportunities to Pacific students. Experience with customer, technology, and catering services along with problem solving compliments their academic learning. All our support staff is Pacific students, therefore there will be minimal fees for some services. Please refer to the Event Labor and Service Fees document.
