Personal Bio

Lee Colaw joined the Pacific team on June 1, 1999 serving as the first Chief Information Officer and Director of University Information Services. Lee was promoted to Vice-President of Information Services on July 26, 2007. Prior to coming onboard at Paciifc, Lee's most recent assignments included being the Director of the Department of Computing and Telecommunications Services at The University of Oklahoma and as Director of Computer Systems Division at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.

A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lee earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Oklahoma State University in 1975, his Masters of Science in Computing and Information Sciences from Oklahoma State University in 1985, Masters of Science in Business Administration from Boston University in 1987, and graduated from the United States Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas in 1991. He was commissioned in the U.S. Army and served from 1975 to 1995 in a variety of computing, development, software, telecommunications, acquisition, networking, engineering, and electronic support organizations around the world.

As Vice-President of Information Services, Lee is responsible for providing a visionary, service-oriented and contemporary technology program for a private comprehensive University comprised of strong liberal arts and professional programs.  He is responsible for all aspects of University computing and for technical aspects of telecommunications, technology budget guidance and management, resource generation and strategic planning for information services. Lee directly supervises a dedicated staff providing extensive technology leadership, IP network management, operation of several hundred UNIX, Linux, Macintosh, and Windows environments, several computer facilities, technology aspects of academic classrooms, and a Datatel enterprise administrative system.
