The goal of Pacific University’s Podcasting Proof of Concept Program is to stimulate new curricular uses of podcasting information technologies. Our hope is that this program will enhance the learning environments at the institution by developing models that can be used to guide full implementation of new technologies into the curricula of the institution. Recipients of this award will receive three full days of intensive podcasting and streaming Internet media training from Apple Computer, a 30GB Video iPod, first use of the new Pacific University iTunes U site, and extensive collaboration with award recipients for academic year 2008. Faculty coordinators for this award are Michael Burch-Pesses and Mike Geraci.
