About the Mathematics and Computer Science Department

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Pacific University offers majors and minors in both Mathematics and Computer Science. The mathematics program is characterized by small class sizes, close interaction with the faculty, and a deep yet broad curriculum rarely encountered at a small university. 

Graduates of our programs have gone on to excel in a multitude of discplines including financial mathematics, computer programming, engineering, teaching, research, and law programs.
