Comparative Religion

Pacific University’s Comparative Religion minor is a multi-disciplinary program, drawing from departments across the college. Students pursuing a minor in Comparative Religion will take courses in several disciplines such as Anthropology, Art History, Philosophy, History, and Sociology.

The goals of the Comparative Religion minor include the exploration of religion as an important dimension of personal meaning, cultures, social institutions and social structures. In addition, coursework in the minor seeks to enhance each student’s knowledge of religious traditions and histories.

We welcome your interest in Comparative Religions and encourage you to become familiar with our faculty and courses via the links to the left.
