The Community Service Work-Study Program
"Being a Community Service partner is very important to our organization because Pacific University was incredibly instrumental in bringing IHAD out to Forest Grove. "

Since Pacific University participates in the Federal Work-Study program, it is possible for student recipients of Federal Work-Study to earn their awards in community service agencies, pending Career Center approval. Funds are limited, and more agencies express interest in having students work in their programs than can be accommodated, but non-profit, community service, and governmental agencies are welcome to inquire about their potential qualification for participation in this program. Program partners are selected on an annual basis, the recruitment process takes place March - April, with partner selections made by mid May. For more information, contact the Career Development Center staff at 503.352.2877 or at careerdc@pacificu.edu.
