Headlines

Dr. Andy Weyer, PT, DPT, PhD, recently published a review article on the molecular sensor of cold temperatures along with Dr. Sonya Lehto, a Senior Scientist at the pharmaceutical company Amgen.

Dr. Andy Weyer co-authored a study examining the effects of a novel pharmacological antagonist of the Transient Receptor Potential Ankyrin 1 (TRPA1) ion channel, which plays a role in pain sensation.

Andy is extremely excited to join the faculty in the School of Physical Therapy. He will be teaching Rehabilitation Neuroscience I and II, and will be co-teaching Patient Assessment, Intervention, and Therapeutic Modalities with Dr. Erin Jobst.
