Clinical & Research Interests

Clinical Interests: Trauma and anxiety interventions for adolescents and emerging adults; crisis response and community-based partnerships; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); personality assessment; and masculinities and mental health. 

Research Interests: Gender socialization of boys and men as related to social, emotional and psychological well-being; emotional expression and response following significant life events; help seeking, therapeutic engagement, and treatment outcomes in boys and men from diverse backgrounds; and clinical and programmatic prevention/intervention to support healthier gender identity for boys.
