Mark Andre is a faculty member in the contact lens department at the College of Optometry. Previously, he was the director of the Contact Lens Service at the Casey Eye Institute on the campus of the Oregon Health and Sciences University. Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the field of contact lenses and shares this knowledge at continuing education events around the world. He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Optometry and the Contact Lens Society of America. He is also a contributing editor for Contact Lens Spectrum.

Mark is a native of Sturgeon Bay, Wisc., and enjoys landscaping.

What does he enjoy most about teaching at the College of Optometry?

"I love the enthusiasm of the students and their desire to learn as much as possible about their chosen field during their time at Pacific. It is really enjoyable to share knowledge with students that are so dedicated to their profession."
