Sarah Deines, PharmD, BCACP is the clinical pharmacy services manager and PGY1 Community Residency Program Director at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center in Hillsboro, Oregon.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Whitman College, and a PharmD from Oregon State University College of Pharmacy, Sarah completed a PGY1 residency at Legacy Health System in Portland, Oregon. Sarah divides her time between managing the clinical pharmacy program and maintaining her practice as an ambulatory care pharmacist managing chronic conditions under protocols for an underserved, diverse patient population.

Sarah currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Society of Health System Pharmacists as the co-chair of the organizational affairs council, and was a member of the ASHP Ambulatory Care Section Advisory Group on Clinical Practice Advancement from September 2011 through June 2013. She was recognized in 2015 by Oregon State University as Preceptor of the Year and by the Oregon Society of Health System Pharmacists as Pharmacy Practitioner of the Year.
